Harley Davidson Dyna Vibration Problem
I recently posted to the Harley newsgroups with a vibration problem with my 97 FXDL Dyna Low Rider.
Harley davidson dyna vibration problem. Some of the aftermarket exhaust are. As most of you know the dyna switchback has a noticeable vibration around 2800 rpms. I dont get the vibration through the seat or bars.
Temporarily remove this bolt completely. There is a harley bulletin out about it. After putting stock mufflers back on have the same problem.

I took my Dyna to the HD shop for an erratic throttle responds complaint. Discussion in Dyna Models started by techspec. The vibration between 25k and 35k rpm on many but not all Switchbacks is a notoriously well known problem.
On the bottom side of the muffler near the middle there is a bolt that attaches the muffler to the center of the support bracket. The service manager was the one who took the Dyna for a test drive. Discussion Starter 1 Oct 25 2008.
I followed the advice of the members on here and called harleys customer service line. Joined Oct 24 2008. The dealer put on stock pegs still the same.
